I. Creation, Labor, Peace

  1. Respect Others: Treat colleagues, users, and stakeholders with respect, regardless of their background, role, or opinion. Avoid discriminatory language and behaviour. Mandatory respect to any living being.
  2. Professional Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally, whether in written or verbal form. Be concise, constructive, and avoid jargon when unnecessary.
  3. Constructive Feedback: Provide feedback that is constructive and actionable. Focus on the issue, not the individual.
  4. Credit and Attribution: Give proper credit for contributions and acknowledge the work of others. Do not claim others' work as your own.
  5. Ethical Practices: Adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of your work, including data handling, user privacy, and compliance with legal requirements.

II. Meetings, Calls, Chats

  1. Less meetings, less calls.
  2. If we call, we call:
    1. Camera on.
    2. No skips, no nagging.
    3. Everyone knows the agenda, having their vision for problems and options to solve them.
  3. If you realise that getting the point across in text is going to be difficult, then use video circles on Telegram. We don't favour sending voice messages. But we'd love to see your circles.
  4. If you send a message to a general chat room, mark @ the nickname of the person to whom the message is intended. Without marking, we may miss the message.
  5. If you see an informational message in a chat room that is intended for you personally or intended for a group of people, including you, and it does not require a response, then put any reaction to it so that the author of the message sees that you have taken note of the information.

III. Openness to people and knowledge

  1. Learning and Growth: Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and skill improvement. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. Never stop meeting new people, new books, and new information. Study before asking.
  2. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members. Share knowledge and assist others to achieve common goals.
  3. Cultivate Autonomy: Prioritize completing tasks independently. Seek solutions online or in the GPT chat room before asking colleagues for help.
  4. Feedback: Be open to receiving feedback and use it as a tool for personal and professional growth. Encourage feedback from others.
  5. Retrospectives: Conduct retrospectives to review what went well and what could be improved in your process. Apply lessons learned to future projects.

IV. Radical transparency

  1. Be truthful about your skills, experience, and the state of your work. Avoid exaggeration or misrepresentation. Be transparent.
